# Measures for Safety

Necessary measures are taken to ensure safety and governance around our native $DEPIN ERC-20 currency. These measures are as follows.\
\
:arrow\_forward: <mark style="color:blue;">**Locked Liquidity**</mark>\
The initial liquidity used to enable trading of $DEPIN on Uniswap is locked for 2 years using UniCrypt.\
\
:arrow\_forward: <mark style="color:blue;">**Contract Renounced**</mark>\
Shortly after the launch of our token, the $DEPIN ERC-20 contract is renounced, to prevent any potential changes in tax, limits or other functions and create a fully safe contract.\
\
:arrow\_forward: <mark style="color:blue;">**Token Audit**</mark>\
An external third party audit firm will be hired shortly after launch to audit the $DEPIN contract. This audit will be shared publically to ensure full transparency.\
\
:arrow\_forward: <mark style="color:blue;">**Platform Audit**</mark>\
Besides the token audit, another external third party audit firm (to ensure neutrality) will be hired to audit the website and workings of the platform.
